My City-Singapore's awesomeness!

Singapore is a sunny island. There are many houses for people and tourists to live. Majority of Singaporeans live in HDB flats or Housing and Development Board flats. These houses are small.

There are bigger houses like condominiums. They have big balconies. They have at least four rooms. There are even bigger houses like bungalows, terrace houses and much bigger homes to live...

In Singapore, every child, whether rich or poor, has access to education. There are kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and even universities and junior colleges to study. I like my school because going to school is fun.

There are markets, shopping centres, malls, swimming complexes and bus interchanges. These places are called heartlands. Do you know that Singapore is going to be 50 years old in 2015?

In the 1960s, Singapore was a kampong. Kampong is a village. The roofs were made of attap leaves.

Singapore has many ways of transportation. There are MRTs and LRTs. MRT stands for Mass Rapid Transit. LRT stands for Light Rail Transit. MRT runs underground while LRT runs between trees! There are also buses, cars and vans.

Singapore is well-known for its airport. Many governments say that it is the best airport in the world!
Singapore has interesting places to visit like Bird park, Zoo, Universal Studios, Science Centre, Night Safari, Sentosa, Botanical Gardens, Gardens by the Bay and Snow City. There are many museums like Philatelic Museum, National Museum, Peranakan Museum.

Singapore is a country and a city.Singapore may be small, but there is yet to discover!
